Beylikduzu is one of the districts located in the west of Istanbul. It is located in the south of Marmara Sea, in the east of Avjilar region, in the west of Buyuk Chekmeje region and in the north of Esen Yurt region, and it became an independent region in 2008.
Its area is three hundred and sixty square kilometers and its population is about three hundred thousand people. This area is about 12 kilometers long along the coastline of the Sea of Marmara.
Since ancient times, Ottoman emperors have come to this area to spend their summer days. For this reason, this area is called Beylik Dozo, which means Big Plains.
Of course, the Roman emperors also had great interest in this area; So that in some parts of the historical context of this city, you can find signs of the architectural style and design elegance of the Byzantine Roman era.
Beylikduzu is one of the rare areas of Istanbul that does not have suburbs. According to municipal studies, more than 40% of people who live in residential complexes and luxury buildings in this area have higher education.
